I am an experienced, highly trained and fully insured therapist, registered as a member of the British Complementary Medicine Association and the Society of Auricular Acupuncturists. I have a special interest in tinnitus, having had the problem myself after perforating an ear drum.   I am a member of the British Tinnitus Association, which keeps me up-to- date with current research. I have a good success rate with this problem, in some cases relieving it completely or bringing the noise down to a level people can live with. Acupuncture is also helpful for pain and can improve quality of life for those suffering from painful conditions such as arthritis and migraine.

The utmost care is taken with hygiene when acupuncture is applied. There is no danger of infection as all needles are disposable and used once only. If you don’t like the thought of needles then an acupuncture scope can be used (no needles) which has a similar effect. The therapies I offer are designed to complement each other and I sometimes combine treatments for added benefit.

I am also a Reiki Master Teacher and hold regular training workshops. Wearing my other hat I am available as a freelance publishing consultant and am able to speak at conferences on the subject of complementary therapies. I have worked for many years as a Publishing Director for Medical and Nursing Titles, and published my own book, the ‘Nurses Index of Medicines and Products’ in 2001.
